Reputation & Review Directives

Regulations ensuring review authenticity, protecting creators from slander, and preventing extortion or bribery in the feedback ecosystem.

Official Marketplace Directive — Mandatory ComplianceThese rules apply to all creators, developers, service providers, and registered members of BlueNode. Violations result in account warnings, listing suspension, or permanent termination. Use the anchor links to cite specific directives.

[ NODE-RP-01 ]Critical Zero-Tolerance

Authenticity & Prohibition of Fake or Incentivized Reviews

Reviews and star ratings must reflect genuine, firsthand customer experiences. Writing fake positive reviews for oneself or purchasing reviews from third parties is strictly prohibited.

Enforcement & Clarifications:

Self-reviewing using alternate accounts will result in immediate termination of the creator's account.
Reviews obtained through discounts, free licenses, or prize incentives will be removed, and the associated resource will face ranking demotion.

[ NODE-RP-02 ]Critical Zero-Tolerance

Strict Prohibition of Review Extortion & Hostage Behavior

Creators are strictly forbidden from withholding customer support, updates, or license keys until a buyer removes or alters a negative review.

Enforcement & Clarifications:

Statements such as "I will only help you fix this bug if you change your rating to 5 stars" will result in a suspension of creator privileges.
Support must be provided equitably regardless of customer review status.

[ NODE-RP-03 ]Critical Zero-Tolerance

Prohibition of Malicious Review Bombing & Competitor Sabotage

Coordinated campaigns to leave 1-star reviews on a competitor's product, or leaving negative reviews motivated by personal feuds rather than actual product flaws, is forbidden.

Enforcement & Clarifications:

Review bombing participants will have their accounts banned and all fraudulent reviews purged.

[ NODE-RP-04 ]Standard Regulation

Constructive Review Standards & Legitimate Grievance Protocol

Reviews should provide meaningful feedback regarding performance, features, documentation, or creator support.

Enforcement & Clarifications:

One-word reviews containing solely insults or profanity without explanation will be deleted upon creator flag.
If a buyer experiences a technical bug, they are strongly urged to open a support ticket with the creator first before posting a 1-star review.

[ NODE-RP-05 ]Standard Regulation

Official Review Dispute & Removal Criteria

Creators may appeal a review to BlueNode Moderation only under specific, objective criteria.

Enforcement & Clarifications:

Eligible for removal: Reviews containing doxxing, racial slurs, proven extortion, reviews for the wrong product, or reviews by users who never actually downloaded or purchased the asset.
NOT eligible for removal: Well-founded critical reviews addressing real bugs, delayed updates, or poor customer support that the creator simply disagrees with.

Buyer Rights to Update & Revise Feedback

Buyers maintain the right to amend their review at any time if the creator resolves their technical issues or if an update introduces new problems.

Enforcement & Clarifications:

Creators who successfully assist an unsatisfied buyer should politely invite them to re-evaluate their experience, but may not demand it.

Professional Creator Response Etiquette

Creators responding publicly to customer reviews must maintain a civil, professional tone. Publicly attacking, mocking, or threatening a reviewer is prohibited.

Enforcement & Clarifications:

Abusive creator replies will be removed and repeat behavior may lead to temporary disabling of the seller's public reply capability.

[ NODE-RP-08 ]Critical Zero-Tolerance

No Review Trading or Mutual Vouching Schemes

Arranging "review trades" (e.g. "I buy and 5-star your plugin, you buy and 5-star mine") is classified as commercial review manipulation.

Enforcement & Clarifications:

All reciprocal reviews identified by our auditing algorithms will be permanently erased.
